Even with the new reminder email, I still could not get my act together to get this picked out last night. I've got some cool hanging photos but they've been used before.
Like last summer, the kids have just improved their swimming by leaps and bounds, literally, as you can see below. The are "hanging" in mid-air (could not find the original bigger photo unfortunately). I gave Keegan the goal of jumping into the deep end (well, 5 feet) by the end of summer, and he pretty much mastered it the second week (I give credit to his visiting cousin). This is a kid who a year ago was clinging to my neck like a drowning victim, and can now swim across the pool.
Hang on to daddy, buddy, don't fall.
good on him!! i still dont dare jump into the deep end...then again, i failed my swimming test! lol :P

ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! I have a grandson who was afraid of the water one summer and a fish the next! Last week we were swimming in Lake Michigan. His daddy was tossing him up in the air so he could splash down in the waves! Ah to be so young again....

ReplyDeleteyou give me encouragement... my little guy is making leaps and bounds at the pool this summer (but he has tubes in his ears and hates his earplugs - UGH).
I'm thinking next summer will be our BIG 'POOL' summer...
