The Power of Shine

And not the kind of shine that appears on my face at the end of the day. Today I got another cool opportunity to hang with great women at a cool hotel, eat yummy food and voice my opinion, always love that. Yahoo! is planning to launch a new feature for women, and I'm sure I won't do it justice, but it sounds fabulous, and not a in glamour magazine way. A place for women to come and blog, with a group of web-savvy and fascinating editors and special content created just for this site by top media companies. We'll have to wait to see, especially if it's going to stand out from the millions of sites on the web, but I think it will be cool and I'll keep you posted as I check it it.

About six months ago my son claimed his superpower was "the power of shine." Funnily enough, that's likely the name of this site. Or perhaps I might be the only one to find this funny. After the event we got makeovers! Benefit is my new favorite make-up, and the names are just awesome: some kind-a gorgeous, BADgal lash, and 10 - Have you done the sexy sweep?
