Had to drag him out of here. Each area of this place has it's own gift ship, but they do have some pretty adorable stuff.
"Gowning up" for the Splash Zone. I'm glad they enjoy wearing these.
Oh boy oh boy oh boy, playing with water. They were hankering for a "fish" and swum them around and through the little caves. Personally I liked the sea anemones better.
Do you see what I see? Peek a boo! I love the little cave they got to crawl through with all these cool creatures.
I want to be a fish, no a ray, no a sea horse, no a fish. Dressing up, sliding down. This little place rocks, not the least of which is the bench I could sit on and watch.
I can't believe I actually got them to pose in this thing. Good we got to go on a preview day since we didn't even have shove anyone out of the way to get the shot.
We walked around saw the fish and sharks and eels and, yes, the wicked awesome jelly fish. Could not believe how well this photo game out.
My boys would LOVE that place!! Looks awesome!! Thanks for sharing.

looks like such fun - was that a fish coming out of your son's back? Wow that's new!
ReplyDeleteSigh - they didn't have all those bells and whistles at the Monterey Aquarium back when we took our two oldest there - but, hey, that was 14 years ago...and we loved the place anyway. Especially the "doggie fishies," as my oldest called the sea otters. (He doesn't call them that anymore.)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in years. Definitely time for a new trip!
