A trip to the pancake breakfast at the Mountain View fire station brings back such memories. My kids even look littler when they're there. In Menlo Park we had the fire truck show up to Keegan's 3rd birthday, where they donned all the kids with hats and drove them around in the truck. The rest of the park just stood around in awe, and I feared I had peaked as a party-thrower. Every experience I've had with brave firefighters has been awesome, although thank goodness we've never had a fire.
Keegan is totally prepared to fight a fire, should the need arise.
And so is my hero, Donovan.
A successful mission, ready for more action.
