I've written a few recent posts over at SV Moms, and would love some comment and link love over there, but I'm really here to announce our newest bloggy city -
It's the DC Metro Moms Blog, where you'll read funny, fascinating and politically savvy moms. Totally go check it out. We've also got some really witty, not to mention yummy foodies, over at Chicago Moms Blog.
We also need to help our good ol' (thank goodness he's almost gone) prez out with the toy recall debaucle. I certainly don't think it's that whole country's fault (and there have and will be issues totally unrelated to China), - there's a lot of corporate greed blame to go around and it's a problem that needs to be fixed. Here's how we can SPEAK OUT.
- For all you DC gals, you can actually attend the meeting (register by emailing Erik Mettler at Erik.Mettler@fda.hhs.gov by September 17). The public meeting will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, in the Jefferson Auditorium, South Building, U.S. Department of Agriculture, 1400 Independence Ave., SW., Washington, D.C. 20250.
- Register your comments regarding our current policies at either http://www.fda.gov/dockets/ecomments or http://www.regulations.gov. All comments should be identified with Docket No. 2009N-0330.
- You can also send written comments to Division of Dockets Management (HFA-305), Food and Drug Administration, 5630 Fishers Lane, Room 1061, Rockville, MD 20852 by October 1. All comments should be identified with Docket No. 2009N-0330.
Oh, and here's me again, writing about juicy noises in the night and my house woes.
